연구실 소개
POSTECH AIM 연구실 (Analytics and Information Management)은 프로세스 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 기업의 프로세스를 분석하고 혁신하기 위한 다양한 연구 활동을 하고 있습니다. 프로세스 마이닝과 데이터 마이닝을 기본으로 하여 기업 내 다양한 데이터를 분석하고 있으며, 머신러닝, AI, 시뮬레이션, 최적화 등을 활용하여 프로세스를 개선하는 방법 또한 연구하고 있습니다. 국가와 함께 삼성전자, 현대중공업, 포스코 등 다양한 기업들의 펀딩을 받고 있고, Decision Support Systems, Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, International Journal of Medical Informatics, International Conference on BPM, International Conference on Process Mining 등 다양한 저널과 학회에 150편 이상의 논문을 출판했습니다. 또한 한국 최초의 프로세스 마이닝 솔루션 회사인 퍼즐데이터와 함께 연구 결과를 상용화하기 위한 노력도 하고 있습니다.
POSTECH AIM Lab (Analytics and Information Management) conducts various research activities to analyze and innovate corporate processes. We use process mining and data mining as primary techniques to analyze multiple data within the company. Furthermore, we develop innovative methods to analyze and improve processes adopting the-state-of-the-art technologies such as machine learning, AI, simulation, optimization, etc. The research in the AIM lab has been funded by the Korean government and the leading global companies in Korea, such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Heavy Industries, POSCO, etc. We have published more than 150 scientific papers in several top-level venues such as Decision Support Systems, Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, International Journal of Medical Informatics, International Conference on BPM, International Conference on Process Mining, etc. We also emphasize the commercialization of the research output. Puzzle Data, the first process mining solution company in Korea, was established as a spin-off company from the lab.
