Master's Student Sukyoung Son(석사 손숙영 학생)
Master's student Sukyoung Son received the Bronze Prize at the "Samsung Electro-Mechanics 1side Edge Paper Award." In a paper titled "Process Mining for Manufacturing Process Analysis," master's student Sukyoung Son and Dr. Benardo proposed a methodology for analyzing manufacturing processes using process mining techniques and validated the applicability of the proposed framework through a case study using Samsung Electro-Mechanics data. The 1side Edge Paper Award, hosted by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, was established to identify outstanding technical talent in core strategic technologies and future-oriented products, to build a foundation for industry-academia cooperation, and to support the research activities of capable individuals, thereby creating a basis for securing world-class competitiveness and technological capability in a global environment; this year marks its ninth edition. Notably, while most recipients of this award are Ph.D. students, achieving this result during a master's program makes it all the more meaningful. Our sincere congratulations on the award.

“삼성전기 1side Edge 논문대상”에서 석사 손숙영 학생과 동상을 수상하였습니다. 석사 손숙영 학생과 Benardo 박사는 “Process Mining for Manufacturing Process Analysis”라는 제목의 논문에서 프로세스 마이닝 기법을 이용한 제조공정 프로세스 분석 방법론을 제시하고, 삼성전기 데이터를 활용한 사례 연구를 통하여 논문에서 제안한 프레임워크의 활용성을 검증하였습니다. 1side Edge 논문대상은 삼성전기에서 주최하며, 핵심 전략 기술 및 미래 지향적인 제품을 중심으로 우수 기술인력을 발굴하고 산학협동의 토대를 구축하는 한편 역량 있는 인재들의 연구활동을 후원함으로써 글로벌 환경 속에서 세계 최고의 경쟁력과 기술력을 확보할 수 있는 기반을 조성하고자 제정되어 올해로 9회 차에 접어들었습니다. 특히 해당 논문대상에서는 박사과정 학생들의 수상이 대부분이나, 석사과정 중에 해당 성과를 거둔 것에 더욱 의미가 크다고 하겠습니다. 수상을 진심으로 축하드립니다.
