Centers and spin-offs
The lab anchors two research centres at POSTECH and two companies.
Wil van der Aalst Data & Process Science Research Center
Opened in 2024 and named after the founder of process mining, the centre anchors POSTECH's international research agenda in data and process science, hosting joint projects, visiting researchers and the Asia-Pacific Process Mining workshop series.
Future City Open Innovation Big Data Center
A POSTECH centre applying big-data and process analytics to urban problems — mobility, shrinking cities, energy use and public services — in partnership with local government.
Puzzle Data (spin-off)
Korea's first process mining software company, established as a spin-off from the lab. It brings the lab's process mining research into enterprise applications.
ZenAii Co. (spin-off)
An AI-powered fashion recommendation company spun off from the lab, translating its research in recommender systems and artificial intelligence into personalised fashion services.
