Keynote Speech at the University Leaders' Conference(대학지도자회의 기조 연설)
POSTECH Emeritus Professor Euiho Suh delivered a keynote speech at the University Leaders' Conference.
Dr. Euiho Suh (POSTECH Emeritus Professor), Special Advisor for Strategy to the President of DGIST, recently delivered a keynote speech at the University Leaders' Conference (2018 Research Excellence Summit) held at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS (Национальный исследовательский технологический университет, НИТУ «МИСиС») in Russia. In his address at the summit, Dr. Suh emphasized, "Although the history of research universities in Korea is short, they have achieved remarkable growth," adding that "research at the five science and technology universities, including KAIST, POSTECH, DGIST, GIST, and UNIST, and at major comprehensive universities such as Seoul National University has greatly contributed to strengthening the competitiveness of Korean technology."
The summit was attended by Russian government officials as well as presidents and professors of leading universities worldwide, including Mikhail Kotyukov, Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education, Alevtina Chernikova, Rector of MISIS, and Alain Fuchs, President of Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL) in France.

포스텍 명예 교수 서의호 교수님께서 대학지도자회의에서 기조 연설을 하였습니다.
대구경북과기원(DGIST) 총장 전략특보인 서의호 박사(포스텍 명예교수)가 최근 러시아 국립 민족연구기술대학교(MISIS, Национальный исследовательский технологический университет, НИТУ «МИСиС»)에서 열린 대학지도자회의(2018 리서치 엑셀런스 서밋)에서 기조연설을 했다. 서 박사는 서밋 연설에서 “한국 연구대학의 역사는 비록 짧지만 눈부신 성장을 이룩했다"며 "KAIST, POSTECH, DGIST, GIST, UNIST 등의 5개 과기대와 서울대 등 주요 종합대학의 연구가 한국 기술의 경쟁력 향상에 크게 기여했다”고 강조했다.
서밋 회의장에는 미하일 코스티코프 러시아 과학교육부 장관, 알레티나 체르니코바 MISIS 총장, 알래인 퓨시 프랑스 파리 과학인문학대학교 총장 등 러시아 정부 관계자와 세계 유수의 대학 총장및 교수들이 참석했다.
