ASPAI 2026: Process Mining Industry Day and the 3rd Process Mining Summer School(ASPAI 2026 — 프로세스 마이닝 인더스트리 데이 및 제3회 서머스쿨 개최)
The Wil van der Aalst Data & Process Science Research Center and the Graduate School of Convergence hosted the Process Mining Industry Day and the 3rd Process Mining Summer School from 24 to 28 August, alongside ASPAI 2026, the Asia-Pacific Symposium on Process and AI. The Industry Day ran on 24 August at the Oakwood Premier COEX in Seoul and on 25 August at the Change Up Ground in Pohang; the Summer School followed on 27 and 28 August at POSTECH's POSCO International Center.
Prof. Wil van der Aalst of RWTH Aachen, who founded process mining, joined practitioners from Celonis, SAP, Puzzle Data, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, together with researchers from the University of Sydney, Queensland University of Technology, Telkom University in Indonesia, UNIST and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Prof. Minseok Song, director of the research center, described the week as a meeting point for theory and practice, and said he hoped the Summer School — the first of its kind in the Asia-Pacific — would give fresh momentum to research and industry in Korea.

송민석 연구센터장은 이론과 실무가 만나는 자리이며, 아시아·태평양 지역에서 처음 열리는 서머스쿨이 국내 연구·산업 생태계에 새로운 동력이 되기를 기대한다고 밝혔습니다.
